KOS TO BODRUM BLUE CRUISE 7 DAYS

This Turkish gulet cruising holiday that sails out of Kos and onto the neighbouring Greek Island of Rhodes and then the coastline of Turkey, is a wonderful way to explore the Greek Islands and parts of the beautiful Turkish coastline. This holiday has a perfect mix of beautiful scenery, historical sights, nightlife and plenty of time for relaxing. Along the way you will get to explore the stunning turquoise coast, journey into small villages and hidden coves along the Turkish coastline and also visit the popular tourist islands of Greece including Symi, Rhodes and Kos.

You will get time on the islands to get off and explore all that the island has to offer. Whilst in Kos, be sure to venture to the healing temple, said to be the birthplace of the father of medicine – Hippocrates. Rhodes is a larger island and has so much on offer. Time to put on your dancing shoes for a drink or two at Lindos, on Rhodes that is famous for its vibrant nightlife. During the day you can also wander the medieval city and do a spot of shopping. There are many optional excursions on this tour giving passengers the chance to see many of the old towns and sights far from the marina.

This cruise end in Bodrum. The Turkish gulet that you will be cruising along is to a very high standard level. The gulet will offer you very comfortable cabins that give you the added luxury of air conditioning, so there will be no need to find yourself a bed on deck for the evening. There is an indoor salon if you need some time out from the many sun beds on deck. This Turkish gulet will take you onto the harbour of Bodrum, where your cruise will end here on the shores of Turkey.

ITINERARY
Day 1

KOS

Your cruise will start today in Kos Harbour. You will meet your yacht in the harbour around lunch time. Kos is the second largest island of the Dodecanese Islands and is well known to be the birthplace of the father of medicine, Hippocrates. You may take a quick swim in Lambi Beach which is very close to Kos Harbour or visit Asklepieion, a large healing temple from ancient times. Kos is also one of the islands with the best night life. Nafklirou, a street full of bars, is always crowded, colourful, and full of life. (L, D)

Day 2

NISYROS TO SYMI

Early in the morning we will cruise to Nisyros Island and will have a swimming break. You can take an optional bus tour to the crater (volcano) which is still active today. The gases and smoke coming from the ground is a spectacular sight. Later in the afternoon we will cruise onto and then anchor down in Symi Harbour. Guests will be amazed by the shoreline with its neo-classical houses and the peripheral districts. You are going to adore Symi Island for its pine and oak forests and unique bays. Dinner and overnight is spent in Symi harbour.(B, L, D)

Day 3

RHODES

We will cruise to Rhodes early in the morning and moor in the harbour for the afternoon and overnight. On arrival guests are encouraged to join our optional old city tour. The main port of Rhodes is Rhodes City which bears the same name as the island. The medieval Old Town of the City of Rhodes has been declared a World Heritage Site and today is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe.

Guests can also join another optional excursion, the Lindos Tour. This city, which is still surrounded by a 12 meter thick city-wall which gives you the feeling of travelling back to Medieval times especially when you walk around its narrow, stone-paved roads. After dinner, we highly recommend you to head out into town and enjoy the colourful nightlife. From ice bars and open air clubs in Lindos to Santana Music bars in the old town, there is something for everyone. (B, L, D)

Day 4

DATCA - KARGI

Today we return back into Turkey waters via Datca. Datca sates back to the 7th Century B.C and the historian Strabon commented on its wonderful climate as there is no humidity and clean crisp air. You will have time to look around Datca Harbour before we will cruise on to anchor down and spend the evening at Kargi Bay. This bay has beautiful slopes coming down to meet the ocean that are densely covered by pine trees and a nice little beach protruding from the greenery. (B, L, D)

Day 5

INCEBURUN - PALAMUTBUKU - KNIDOS

This morning we cruise onto Inceburun to see the charming lighthouse that sits atop the cliff. The water surrounding this area is a crystal blue and perfect to get the bathing suit on for a swim. There will then be a swimming stop at Palamutbuku before we cruise onto Cnidus. Here you will find the ruins of the ancient Greek city in South West Turkey that was very famous for its science, art and architecture. You will spend the rest of the day and evening here, so you there is plenty of time to go on shore to explore some of the ruins on land or just take a swim in the beautiful clear waters. (B, L, D)

Day 6

BLACK ISLAND - POYRAZ HARBOUR - BODRUM

This morning you will get to have a swim in the beautiful bays of Karaada - Black Island. A bay known for its turquoise-blue waters, it’s a must to dip the toes in the water here. Afterwards we will take a swimming break at Poyraz Bay before we cruise back into Bodrum Harbour. Dinner will be served on board and afterwards you have the chance to go into town to enjoy the nightlife that the town offers. (B, L, D)

Day 7

BODRUM

The guests will leave the boat with precious memories of their week long holiday at sea just after breakfast.(B)

A standard gulet is provided for this cabin charter. Some may be equipped with air conditioning and will only be used if specified on your cabin charter information and itinerary.Yachts are determined on your arrival. INCLUSIONS & EXCLUSIONS
-Port and marina fees, taxes and fuel are all included in your cabin charter package price.
-Passengers have the use of all standard yachting equipment on board. This includes snorkels and masks and board games.
-Linen and bath towels are provided on this cabin charter. Please note that you must bring along your own beach towel. The towels on board cannot be used for swimming and sunbaking.
-Entrance fees and optional activities are not included in the cabin charter package price.

MEALS & DRINKS
All meals are included for the duration of your cruise. This includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and snacks.Drinks are not provided in your cabin charter package. On this cabin charter you may not bring along your own drinks. All drinks including water are sold on board at reasonable prices. A bar tab is setup for the duration of the week. All bar tabs are paid on the conclusion of your cruise.

ACCOMMODATION
Allocation of cabins is done on site. All cabins on these cruises are for two people in usually a double cabin layout. Single travellers cannot share cabins with other individuals on the cruise. RESTRICTIONS
-Your cabin charter is a non-guided tour. There is no local guide on board providing information on the sites and locations.
-Children of all ages are allowed on this cabin cruise. However it is not highly recommended for 1-3 year olds. All children charged at full price.
-For cruises visiting the Greek Islands, all participants must be in possession of a valid passport (expiring not earlier than one month after the cruise ends) and should obtain a Schengen visa if required. It is the passenger’s responsibility to obtain any visas, passports, health certificates or other travel documentation required.
-All efforts will be made to follow this itinerary, however in cases of poor weather and/or sea conditions, this schedule may change. This could include altered daily plans and overnight stops. In these situations all efforts will be made to consult customers on alternative options, no money will be refunded.
